He is suspected of organizing a stable criminal group consisting of active employees of the special services and civilians for the purpose of personal enrichment.
During the investigative actions, five people were detained. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek has decided to arrest the suspects, who are currently in the temporary detention facility of the capital's Department of Internal Affairs and in the pre-trial detention center No. 21 of the Ministry of Justice.
An internal investigation conducted by the GKNB's own security service has led to serious disciplinary measures:
- six employees were dismissed from national security;
- six individuals were removed from their positions and transferred to the agency's disposal;
- one candidate was excluded from the list of applicants;
- eight employees received various disciplinary sanctions.
The special services continue active work to identify other possible participants in the corruption scheme. The investigation is under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
