During the investigation, it was established that a 38-year-old man, S. M., was setting off firecrackers in the village, while holding a toy gun in his hands. This created the impression among witnesses that he was shooting with a real weapon, causing panic among local residents.
The fact of the incident was recorded in the automated information system of the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District.
In response to the incident, the police emphasized that the use of pyrotechnics and objects resembling weapons in public places can lead to misunderstandings and panic, as well as carry legal responsibility. Citizens were urged to maintain public order.
