In Kadamdzhai, homes, roads, and schools are protected from mudslide threats

In the Batken region, in the Kadamjai area, activities are being carried out aimed at reducing risks associated with mudflows. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the information provided, as part of the program for preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergencies, the cleaning of mudflow channel beds is being conducted in the settlements of Ak-Turpak and Orozbekov.


In particular, in the village of Boston, at the Pushkoot site, an excavator from the Ministry of Emergency Situations is working on cleaning a 700-meter-long mudflow channel.

In addition, in the village of Min-Chynar, work continues on cleaning the mudflow channel over a length of 1,000 meters.

As emphasized by the department, the completion of this work will ensure the protection of 67 residential houses, 12 hectares of land plots, 2.9 kilometers of internal access roads, 4.15 kilometers of irrigation ditches, and the local school building.
