According to the information from the press service of the State Committee, this incident was identified during counter-terrorism activities conducted with the participation of foreign partners.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 252, Part 1 ("Threat of committing a terrorist act") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Furthermore, the GKNB noted that there has been a recent increase in cases of religious radicalization among youth. In this regard, the agency draws the attention of parents and teachers to the necessity of conducting explanatory work with children and closely monitoring their interests and behavior in the open information space.
