According to information from the SCNS, the senior secretary of the Chui Regional Court, A. Zh. B., was detained after attempting to return part of the money she received for influencing a court decision. She allegedly received $26,000 from T. M. T. for assistance in issuing a ruling not related to imprisonment, but failed to fulfill her obligations, which led to her detention. At the time of her arrest, 651,000 soms and $2,800 were seized from her. After the arrest, A. Zh. B. was placed in the SCNS detention center.
The investigation is also looking into the involvement of Kyrgyz citizen K. A. A. and judge of the Alamudun District Court, Zh. Sh. B., who was caught red-handed while returning 85,000 soms.
