According to information, on March 2, 2026, a local resident named D.K. filed a theft report at the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department.
The woman reported that on March 1, 2026, at around 18:00, unidentified individuals secretly stole a brown clutch containing 17,000 soms from her bag in the "Dordoy Plaza-2" shopping center and fled the scene.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning theft.
As a result of operational-search activities, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek detained 21-year-old S.O., who had previously been convicted of similar crimes.
Currently, his connection to a series of thefts has been established, and the investigation is ongoing.
