A resident of the capital reported to the police on March 2, stating that on March 1, around six in the evening, her clutch containing 17,000 soms was stolen from her bag at the "Dordoy Plaza-2" shopping center.
This incident was recorded under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek managed to apprehend the suspect, identified as S.O., born in 2001. He had previously been convicted for similar offenses.
During the investigative actions, his possible connection to other crimes is being determined.
