The victim of the incident stated that on January 30, around six in the evening, at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Shopokov Street, his iPhone 17 Pro Max, worth 150,000 soms, was stolen.
This case was registered under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning theft.
Employees of the Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek managed to apprehend the suspect, who turned out to be 23-year-old K.B., previously convicted and listed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs as an active participant in an organized criminal group and a pickpocket. The suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigative actions, it was revealed that he was wanted and involved in four other thefts. The detainee also handed over four stolen mobile phones.
The investigation is ongoing.
