The incident occurred on February 5 at around 5:30 PM, when a woman boarded bus No. 135 at the stop near the Osh market. Upon arriving at Levanovsky Street, she discovered that her iPhone 16 Pro was missing.
This crime was registered in accordance with Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement authorities detained the suspect, identified as A.A., who had a prior criminal record and was registered as a pickpocket. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The Lenin District Court of Bishkek decided to remand the detainee in custody at SIZO-1 for a period of two months.
During the investigation, it was revealed that A.A. had sold the stolen phone at the Osh market. During a search of the sales point, the stolen gadget was found among more than 60 mobile phones and returned to its owner.
