The Deputy Head of the Production Technology Center for the creation of state documents, Syrgak Chokoev, reported that Kyrgyzstan has become the first country to implement 3D designs for the design and protection of new model passports against counterfeiting.
"Our foreign partners are eagerly awaiting the successful application of this protection method, which will likely be used in the passports of other countries as well," noted Chokoev.
Chokoev also added that the cost of the new passport will increase due to rising prices for materials supplied from Europe. However, the printing process for passports, both ID cards and civil documents, will be carried out in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the official, the new documents are impossible to forge.
"We have an independent international conclusion confirming that the documents meet all established requirements. We believe that our passport is one of the most beautiful in the world, and at the very least, we should be in the top ten," shared Syrgak Chokoev.
He also mentioned that in normal daylight, the passport looks like a standard document, but under infrared radiation, each page transforms into a unique work of art featuring images of symbols and landmarks of Kyrgyzstan.
