The photo was taken on November 8 in the state of Arizona. To achieve this result, McCarthy spent several weeks preparing and made six attempts. The jump was made from a height of 1,070 meters, with the camera positioned 2,440 meters away.
The photographer himself noted that this image is now among his personal top five best works.
