In the Kemin District, a sanitary landfill will be built by 2031

The first meeting between the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision and the Korean company MYC Inc. (Make Your Climate), which is part of the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment of the Republic of Korea, was held to discuss the upcoming project.

As part of the preparation for the construction of a sanitary landfill in Kemin and Orlovka, located in the Kemin district of the Chui region, a joint study was conducted to obtain grant support from the Korean side.

The project aims to create an integrated waste management system that will include landfilling, incineration, and sorting, with the goal of reducing the volume of waste sent to landfills and minimizing negative impacts on the environment.

The implementation period for the project is set from 2027 to 2031, with a total budget anticipated to be up to 10 million dollars. The executing organization will be K-eco Corporation, while the managing organization will be KEITI.
