The solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Victory Memorial took place in Bishkek, organized as part of the visit of the international observation mission of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS, which arrived in Kyrgyzstan to observe the extraordinary elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh.
The First Deputy Mayor of the capital, Mirlanbek Baigonchokov, welcomed the members of the delegation on behalf of the city authorities and noted the importance of international cooperation for the development of democratic institutions, parliamentarism, and the protection of citizens' electoral rights.
The ceremony took place at the Victory Memorial, where participants of the event, including deputies and senators from the CIS member states, honored the memory of the heroes who gave their lives during the Great Patriotic War.
The Bishkek City Hall expressed gratitude to the organizers for their assistance in strengthening international cooperation and maintaining the traditions of respect for historical memory.
