A meeting was held at the State Tax Service with participants from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to issues of identifying and combating economic offenses, timed to coincide with International Anti-Corruption Day.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided current statistics on registered economic crimes, discussed practical examples from their work, and methods of investigation.
Particular attention was paid by the participants to the importance of promptly informing law enforcement agencies about possible corruption schemes and other violations.
The discussion also addressed modern trends in economic crime, including the most common schemes and approaches to their detection.
The format of the event facilitated an open dialogue, allowing for the exchange of experiences and strengthening cooperation in the fight against corruption and economic crimes.
The State Tax Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs plan to continue their joint efforts to enhance transparency and trust, as well as to improve the effectiveness of measures taken to combat corruption.
