China imposed sanctions on the US for arms supplies to Taiwan

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the imposition of sanctions against 10 individuals and 20 defense companies from the United States. This decision was made in response to recent arms supplies to Taiwan and was reported on December 26, according to DW.

The sanctions, which pertain to supplies that "threaten the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the PRC," took effect immediately.

This list includes companies such as the defense contractor Northrop Grumman and Boeing's St. Louis division in Missouri. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs specified that the list of individuals includes high-ranking executives from these organizations.
