In Batken, the first meeting of this year was held, chaired by the presidential representative Aibek Shamenov, who gathered local authorities. This was reported by the press service of the representative office.
Shamenov emphasized that after resolving issues related to borders and security, the region faces the crucial task of dynamic socio-economic development, supported by the political will of the country's leadership. He urged local leaders to act within the law and demonstrate maximum responsibility.
During the meeting, priority areas of work were identified:
- effective and targeted use of electricity;
- assessment of coal supply for the population;
- land inventory;
- completion of the land amnesty process;
- organization of large markets;
- resolution of issues regarding the construction of markets in Kyzyl-Kiya and Batken, as well as the Batken bus station;
- strengthening measures to prevent traffic accidents;
- active participation in competitions to form a personnel reserve for government agencies.
At the end of the meeting, Shamenov noted the need to unite efforts to promote the development of Batken and achieve the set goals.
