The snow leopard, a male weighing 42.7 kg and measuring about two meters long, is between 3 to 4 years old. After being captured, it was temporarily housed in a wildlife rehabilitation center located in the Sailyu-Terek pasture in the Chui region.
Today, the predator was released back into the wild after a complete medical examination.

Earlier, it was reported that this predator ended up in the territory of the village of Boroldoy and climbed a tree. A ranger from the Chui regional department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, J. Chokoev, and hunter U. Abikanov promptly helped to safely remove it from the tree.
The Ministry of Natural Resources emphasized that the snow leopard is a symbol of Kyrgyzstan and its conservation is of great importance for the biodiversity of the country.
