Trolleybuses play a key role in creating transport infrastructure, providing environmentally friendly mobility for city residents, including people with disabilities and children.In honor of this anniversary, the #Bishkek Smog initiative is organizing a festive event.
We invite everyone who has ever worked in the field of electric transport; among the honored guests will be employees of the trolleybus management.
Event Plan
First Part: Round Table with Experts- 17:00-17:15 - Welcome. Speeches by representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the KR, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the KR, as well as the Bishkek City Hall (information to be confirmed).
- 17:15-17:30 - "History and Modernity of Urban Electric Transport" - presentation by researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Regional Geography Yegor Muleev (Leipzig, Germany, online).
- 17:30-17:45 - Presentation of the electric mobility project by UNDP KR expert, Professor Ángel Aparicio, who has been teaching at the Technical University of Madrid since 2009 (online, with translation from Russian to English).
- 17:45-18:00 - Words from representatives of the UN OHCHR, EBRD, ADB, and "Bir Duyno - Kyrgyzstan" (information to be confirmed).
- 18:00-18:30 - Questions and discussion.
- 18:30-18:50 - Quiz on electric transport.
- 18:50-19:30 - Musical performance and acknowledgments to the veterans of the trolleybus management.
