Today, the mayor of the Osh region, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, along with representatives of the relevant services, conducted a morning raid to check compliance with the boundaries of the water protection zone of the "Zhekelik" canal, which runs through the territorial administration of "Manas-Ata." Explanations from the city hall indicate that during the inspection, Toktorbaev examined the area of the closed cafe "Eurasia," located on A. Navoi Street. This establishment has not been operational for many years, and some of its structures were built right at the waterline.
The mayor instructed to immediately demolish the illegal structures that were erected unlawfully within the protected zone of the "Zhekelik" canal, as well as to free the municipal territory.
In addition, during the raid, Toktorbaev ordered a detailed inspection of other facilities whose constructions may extend beyond the established boundaries and violate the protective zone of the canal.
