A Bishkek resident has been fighting for her children for almost two years after their father subjected them to violence

A woman has sought support from the Ombudsman and the head of the State National Security Committee

Ayjamal Janibekova, a resident of Bishkek, has reached out for help to Jamilya Dzhamanbaeva, the Ombudsman, as well as to Kamchybek Tashiev, the head of the State National Security Committee. She has also written to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the UN to ensure the protection of her children from their father. She reported this on her Facebook page.

According to Ayjamal, she has been trying to achieve justice for her children, who have become victims of violence, for two years. Despite having seven protection orders, expert conclusions, as well as protocols of children's interrogations and a court ruling depriving the father of parental rights, the criminal case is being delayed.

The woman also suspects that relatives and friends of her husband are involved in this process, using their connections in law enforcement to prolong the case. In this regard, she is appealing to the authorities for support.
