Online registration for citizens to study at state driving schools has begun in the Kyrgyz Republic, accompanied by the introduction of updated driver training programs, according to a statement from the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Applications are accepted only in electronic form on the official website avtomektep.srs.kg. To do this, it is necessary to enter personal data, select a region and category of driver's license, and then submit the application.
Once the application is submitted, it will be processed, and applicants will be enrolled in driving schools according to the selected region.
Students will be able to complete the theoretical part of their training online. Several training streams have also been organized, allowing for the efficient processing of a large number of applications and minimizing the load on driving schools.
Every day, new state driving schools are connected to the system, enabling one school to train several groups simultaneously and evenly distribute students across regions.
The new driver training programs introduced as part of the reform aim to improve the quality of education, foster a culture of safe driving, and reduce the number of traffic accidents.
At the direction of President Sadyr Japarov, new approaches to training in driving schools are also being considered. As reported by the head of the Presidential Administration Kanbek Tumenbaev, a testing opportunity will be provided in a pilot mode after four months of training for students with high results.
Students who successfully pass the test and exam will be able to obtain a temporary driver's license for one year. If no serious traffic violations are recorded during this time, they will be issued permanent rights.
If a temporary driver who has obtained a license commits serious traffic violations or becomes the cause of an accident within a year, their temporary license will be revoked, and they will be required to complete the remaining six months of training in a driving school.
