The procedure for replacing indefinite driver's licenses has begun in Kyrgyzstan, which does not require the submission of a medical certificate in the form of 083. This was reported by the head of the president's office, Kanbek Tumanbaev.
Today, Tumanbaev visited the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers, where the process of replacing licenses is taking place. During the visit, he interacted with citizens and provided detailed information about the procedure for obtaining this service.
The head of the president's office emphasized the necessity of replacing indefinite driver's licenses. He noted that the old licenses are not digitized and are not accepted in several neighboring countries, which creates problems when using the document abroad. Transitioning to new samples is an important measure for the legalization of licenses and compliance with modern international standards.
Furthermore, Tumanbaev pointed out that the old indefinite driver's licenses have insufficient security features. In most cases, outdated photographs are used, complicating the identification of the owner and creating risks of abuse. The new licenses have improved security characteristics, which eliminates such problems and facilitates the work of road safety officials.
Kanbek Tumanbaev also mentioned that previously, when applying through the "Tündük" system, a medical certificate in the form of 083 was automatically requested. In the interest of citizens, he noted that starting Monday, this requirement will be canceled for the replacement of old driver's licenses. This innovation will allow citizens to process license replacements online without leaving their homes.
In conclusion, Tumanbaev urged citizens to follow the established procedure to avoid the formation of queues:
- Citizens whose driver's licenses are not digitized and not registered in the "Tündük" system must apply in person for document replacement;
- Citizens whose licenses are in the "Tündük" system are recommended to process the replacement in an online format without visiting the center.
