According to the press service, during the visit he held discussions with citizens, explaining the procedure for obtaining this service.
In a previous live broadcast, Tumanbaev noted that currently, a medical certificate in the form of 083 is not required for the replacement of indefinite driver's licenses.
As part of his work at "Unaa," he explained the necessity of updating indefinite licenses. According to him, old licenses do not have a digital format and are not accepted in a number of neighboring countries, which creates difficulties when using these documents outside of Kyrgyzstan. Thus, the transition to new samples is an important measure for the legalization of driver's licenses and their compliance with international standards.
Additionally, he noted that old indefinite licenses have low security features. In most cases, they contain outdated photographs, which complicates identity verification and creates risks of misuse, as the license can be used by unauthorized individuals. New documents have modern security elements, which prevents such cases and simplifies the work of road safety officials.
Tumanbaev also added that previously, when applying through the "Tündük" system, a medical certificate in the form of 083 was automatically required. However, starting from January 19, this requirement will be excluded for the replacement of old driver's licenses, allowing citizens to process their replacements online without leaving their homes.
He urged citizens to follow the established procedure for applications to avoid the formation of queues:
- Those whose licenses do not have a digital format and are not displayed in the "Tündük" system need to come in person to replace their documents;
- Citizens whose licenses are displayed in the "Tündük" system are recommended to process their replacements online, avoiding visits to the center.
