In addition, under this same resolution, the State Agency for Vehicle Registration and Driver Training was transferred from the jurisdiction of the Cabinet of Ministers to the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic and received a new name — the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Training.
The resolution will come into effect 10 days after its official publication.
- As previously reported, starting in 2026, driver training will be conducted exclusively in state driving schools. Private driving schools will continue their activities, but only in partnership with state institutions.
- Now, the driver training course will last 14 months.
