As representatives of "Unaa" explained in an interview with Kaktus.media, the demand for services has sharply increased after the cancellation of the mandatory medical certificate 083.
The press service noted: "Some points operate without weekends, as many people living in Bishkek are not registered in the capital and need to replace their documents."
Specialists from the institution assured that they would try to serve all visitors.
Meanwhile, the service for exchanging driver's licenses through the "Tunduk" portal is currently unavailable.
Representatives of JSC "Tunduk" confirmed that online exchanges are temporarily suspended but promised to resume them after updating the application, which is currently under development.
According to them, "Due to the modernization of the driver's license exchange service and the expansion of functionality (including the addition of free exchanges), the service is temporarily unavailable. It will resume with the release of the next update of the 'Tunduk' mobile application."
We remind you that in November 2024, it was announced that the mandatory exchange of indefinite driver's licenses issued in Kyrgyzstan from 2009 to 2012 would take place. The period for free exchange is limited until February 15 of this year. Previously, a medical certificate of form 083 was required for the exchange; however, after complaints from citizens and doctors, this requirement was canceled.
The Director of the State Agency for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tynchbek Saidov, reported that
the exchange of licenses can be conducted at any time during the year, but at the established rate of 779 soms. Other categories of citizens are served in the usual manner.
Free exchange of driver's licenses is available exclusively with personal application.
