The head of the president's office, Kanibek Tumanbaev, announced that a medical certificate of form 083 is no longer required for the replacement of indefinite driver's licenses. This statement was made during a live broadcast.
From January 15 to February 15 of this year, anyone wishing to exchange their indefinite licenses will be able to do so without undergoing a medical examination. This innovation is aimed at simplifying the process of obtaining licenses.
“We receive numerous questions about the form 083 certificate due to the queues. I want to remind you: this certificate is not mandatory for the replacement of an indefinite license. It is only needed when obtaining a license for the first time,” Tumanbaev added.
To successfully replace a driver's license, it is sufficient to have a valid identity document.
In addition, the head of the president's office noted that the "Tündük" system still requires the form 083 certificate; however, this issue is already being addressed. From January 15, the requirement to provide this certificate will be canceled.
