Applications for training are accepted only in online format through the official website avtomektep.srs.kg. To submit an application, it is necessary to provide personal information, select the training region, and the category of driver's license, after which the electronic application can be sent through the platform.
After receiving the online applications, they will be processed, and future drivers will be enrolled in driving schools according to the selected region.
For the convenience of students, distance learning for theory has been provided. Several training streams have been created, allowing for a large number of applications to be processed and avoiding overload in educational institutions.
New state driving schools are being connected to the system every day, allowing multiple groups of cadets to be trained simultaneously and evenly distributing students across regions.
As part of the reform, updated driver training programs have been implemented, aimed at improving the quality of education, developing a culture of safe driving, and reducing the number of road traffic accidents.
The programs include in-depth study of the Traffic Rules, enhanced practical training, the use of modern simulators, and learning the basics of vehicle maintenance.
Additionally, at the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov, the possibility of shortening the training period in driving schools is being considered. The head of state’s chief of staff, Kanbek Tumanbaev, reported that for cadets demonstrating high results, an option for testing may be introduced after just four months of training.
Cadets who successfully pass the test and exam will be issued a temporary driver's license for one year. If there are no traffic violations during this period, they will receive a permanent license.
