More than 6,000 Bishkek residents may be left without electricity due to debts

The Bishkek Electric Network Company, a branch of JSC "NESC," strongly recommends its customers not to delay payment of electricity bills. According to information from the press service of BPES, on March 24, a remote disconnection will be carried out in the city for more than 6,000 subscribers who have outstanding debts.

The disconnection process will be carried out using an automated information and measurement system for electricity accounting (AISKUE). To avoid disconnection, energy workers advise settling debts before the event begins.

According to analytical research, the digitalization of electricity accounting allows for a reduction in commercial losses by 20-30 percent. However, due to the high load on the networks and equipment wear, which in some areas reaches 80 percent, consumers must adhere to strict payment discipline to ensure the reliable operation of the system without accidents.
