
According to Mukhamadiev's relatives, he passed away at the age of 60. Since November 15, 2025, he had been in serious condition and was hospitalized in intensive care following strokes.
Mukhsin Mukhamadiev was born on October 21, 1966, in Dushanbe and began his career at the club "Pamir." In Russia, he also played for "Lokomotiv" (both Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod), "Spartak," "Torpedo," "Shinnik," as well as foreign clubs such as "Ankaragücü" from Turkey and "Austria" from Vienna.
In 1994, he achieved significant success, becoming the champion of Russia with "Spartak." From 2008 to 2012, Mukhamadiev served as the sporting director of "Rubin," under whose leadership the team became the champion of Russia twice and also won the Cup and Super Cup of the country. As head coach, he led "Istiqlol" to the championship title in Tajikistan twice.
Mukhamadiev left a notable mark in the history of Russian and Tajik football as a player, coach, and sports official.
