From November 1 to 30, 2025, Uzbekistan will host a unique campaign called "Month of Tourism for the Elderly." This initiative aims to support elderly citizens by offering them opportunities for active recreation and the development of domestic tourism. The event will feature significant discounts on various tourist services, including accommodation, transportation, and cultural activities.
All hotels and other accommodation facilities across the country will offer discounts of up to 20 percent for elderly people.
The national airline "Uzbekistan Airways" also supports this initiative by providing a 15 percent discount on economy class tickets for men over 60 and women over 55. This offer will be valid for all domestic flights throughout November.
The company "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari" has joined the campaign, offering a 20 percent discount on travel costs for domestic routes, excluding the high-speed trains "Afrosiyob."
Elderly citizens will also be able to take advantage of a discount of up to 10 percent on tickets for visiting state museums and monuments managed by the Agency for Cultural Heritage. Discounts of up to 20 percent will be available for visits to pilgrimage sites managed by the Charitable Public Fund "Vakf."
This initiative aims to promote inclusive and socially oriented tourism, creating comfortable conditions for the rest and travel of elderly people, as well as encouraging their active participation in societal life.
