Kyrgyz people are lucky, they have Tashiev

At the award ceremony for the international prize "Eurasia," held on October 29 in Moscow, Kyrgyzstan was represented by a united and cohesive team. Although it may seem that there is nothing surprising about this: one country, one people, one team. However, in recent years, such harmony has often been disrupted.

Take Moldova, for example. Not long ago, it was a single state, but now representatives of this country arrived at the event in Moscow in three different groups: from Moldova itself, Transnistria, and Gagauzia. Despite similarities in national costumes and language, these people emphasize their differences and claim that they have nothing in common. The Transnistrian Republic has nothing in common with the Republic of Moldova, let alone Gagauzia.

Kyrgyzstan could also have faced a similar fate, considering how long various destructive forces have sought to create discord between the North and South, which in turn could lead to further division along tribal lines and even civil war.

Fortunately, this did not happen in Kyrgyzstan. And it is unlikely to occur as long as the current administration remains in power, despite various opinions about it.

"Over the years of independence, significant changes and events have taken place in the country," noted President Sadyr Japarov, explaining why General Colonel Tashiev was awarded the title of Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic. "Some of these changes threatened the unity of our people. Enemies of Kyrgyzstan tried to sow discord among fraternal peoples, leading to sad consequences. No one can deny that the Chairman of the State National Security Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Kamchybek Kydyrshaevich Tashiev, actively worked to end conflicts and reconcile the peoples. His efforts to strengthen national security, protect borders, and reform law enforcement agencies cannot be ignored."…

Even those who are always in opposition realize how close the country was to the abyss, and how Japarov and Tashiev managed to stop this fall and slowly but surely turn the country in a different direction.

- Kyrgyz people are indeed lucky to have Tashiev, - this thought was heard repeatedly in Moscow during the three-day visit. Representatives of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan sincerely admire the head of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic. Kamchybek Tashiev has managed in a short time to resolve issues that other countries could not solve in thirty years: he eased tensions at the borders and established good-neighborly relations with Uzbeks and Tajiks. Our neighbors are genuinely grateful to him for this.

Recently, the general reported that in the near future, the need for border control between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan may be eliminated. While many states are falling apart into warring parts, Kamchybek Tashiev demonstrates how to unite the peoples and states of Central Asia, inviting others to follow his example.
