
Today, the neighboring republic celebrates 34 years of its independence
On Independence Day, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, congratulated the citizens of the country. The message, dedicated to the 34th anniversary of independence, was published by the press service of Akorda, reports NUR.KZ.
Tokayev emphasized the importance of this holiday for the people who consciously chose the path of sovereign development for Kazakhstan.
“Independence is our main priority! Our historical duty is to follow this principle for the sake of future and past generations,” the president stated.
He noted that Kazakhstan has achieved significant success in strengthening its independence thanks to the unity, support, and cooperation of its citizens, as well as stability and harmony in society. “The world around us is changing rapidly, entering a new era with many challenges, but also new opportunities,” he added.
“As a young and progressive nation, we must look to the future with hope and optimism, unite, and work on enhancing the competitiveness and authority of our country on the international stage, turning Kazakhstan into a prosperous state,” Tokayev concluded.
He expressed confidence that the current large-scale reforms will lead to the success of the country.
“By following the strategic course of comprehensive modernization, we will create a Fair, Strong, Clean, and Safe Kazakhstan,” the president added.
“I wish everyone happiness, well-being, and success! May our sacred Independence be eternal!” he concluded his address.
