A resident of the Issyk-Ata district contacted the police on December 11. He stated that in March 2025, he saw an advertisement for the sale of an apartment in the village of Ivanovka on the "Lalafо" website. After contacting the seller, they agreed on the deal, and the buyer handed over 1 million 50 thousand soms during a meeting in Kant.
However, later the seller refused to formalize the documents for the new owner and to return the money.
This case was registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational actions by the police, the suspect, N.N., born in 1987, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
According to the investigation, the apartment belonged to the mother of the detained, and he did not intend to sell it but planned to put it back on the market.
The investigation is ongoing.
