Construction of the decadal regulation pool on the Ak-Suu River has begun

A ceremony was held in the Moscow district of the Chui region for the laying of a capsule for a new reservoir for decadal regulation on the Ak-Suu River, attended by Adylbek Kasymaliev. This was reported by the press service of the government.

As noted by Kasymaliev, the program for providing the population with irrigation water across the country includes the creation of 44 irrigation facilities.

“To date, the reconstruction of 10 facilities has been completed, which are already in operation. From 2024 to 2030, the construction of 106 reservoirs for daily and decadal regulation is planned, with a total capacity of 953.74 million cubic meters. In the Chui region, the creation of 27 such reservoirs with a total capacity of 188.4 million cubic meters is planned,” he added.

In addition, the chairman of the cabinet emphasized that the new reservoir on the Ak-Suu River, which will have a volume of 4.5 million cubic meters, will ensure stable water supply for all irrigated lands.

It is worth noting that in the republic, 2,700 kilometers of canals and 4,263 hydraulic structures have already been restored, and 142 pumping units have been repaired and replaced. In the field of irrigation, 301 units of specialized equipment and service vehicles have been purchased.
