Active mining operations are currently ongoing at all the mentioned sites.

To ensure the population has access to coal, specialists, together with local authorities, organized the operation of 142 coal depots. Additionally, railway supplies of coal to fuel bases in Bishkek and the Chui Valley have been resumed.

Furthermore, the modernization of the Kara-Keche open-pit mine has become an important step towards improving the environmental situation and enhancing the quality of fuel. In this area, two modern coal sorting complexes have been installed, which ensure the supply of high-quality lump coal, as emphasized by the Ministry of Energy.
