According to this draft law, the entire amount of the National Bank's profit, namely 100%, will be directed to the republican budget after the financial statements are confirmed by an independent audit.
During the discussion, it was mentioned that the amount could be around 50 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance noted that these funds will be used to finance essential social expenditures.
In 2024, the National Bank has already transferred 45.7 billion soms to the budget, while in 2023 the amount was 12.6 billion soms.
As a result of the discussion, the draft law was adopted in three readings.
