The State Tax Service has initiated a large-scale reform in the field of tax administration, within which a decision has been made to abandon excessive business inspections. This was announced by the head of the State Tax Service, Almambet Shykmamatov, at a board meeting summarizing the agency's work.
He emphasized that the agency decided to abandon direct pressure on entrepreneurs, as fear cannot serve as a reliable source of income for the budget.
Shykmamatov also added that starting from 2025, the functions of conducting field inspections by employees of the central apparatus of the State Tax Service have been completely abolished. This innovation has significantly reduced corruption risks at this level.
In addition, the agency has revised its approaches to the appointment and conduct of inspections in territorial subdivisions, creating a system of control and coordination that is focused not on the number of inspections, but on their justification and quality.
