According to the order, which came into effect on January 30, 2026, under number 3, price limits were established for various regions of the country.
The territorial departments of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service determined the maximum retail prices for meat depending on the location.
- In the capital, Bishkek, the price for beef is set at 720 soms per kilogram, and for lamb — 710 soms;
- In the Chui region, maximum prices range from 740 to 750 soms;
- The Naryn region has price ranges from 620 to 680 soms depending on the area;
- In the Issyk-Kul region, the limit prices are 680-740 soms;
- In the Talas region, prices are around 685-695 soms;
- In Osh and the Osh region, prices are set up to 720-730 soms;
- In the Jalal-Abad region, maximum prices fluctuate from 630 to 720 soms;
- In the Batken region, the limit price for beef and lamb is 700 soms per kilogram.
The Ministry of Economy emphasized that these measures are aimed at curbing price increases and protecting consumer interests. Compliance with the established prices will be monitored by local antimonopoly authorities.
