
Among the participants were the First Deputy Minister Zhanibek Kerimaliev, heads of specialized departments of the ministry, the department's management, as well as heads of territorial units and laboratory managers from all corners of the country.
During the session, special attention was paid to the results of work for 2025. Achievements in the field of phytosanitary safety, identified systemic problems, and ways to quickly resolve them were discussed. The ministry's leadership emphasized that effective chemicalization and timely crop protection play a key role in increasing the export potential of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan.
At the end of the meeting, an action plan for 2026 was adopted. Among the main priorities of the department were identified:
strengthening control over the import and use of pesticides and agrochemicals; improving the work of quarantine laboratories; optimizing phytosanitary monitoring to ensure food security in the country.
The implementation of these plans is aimed at reducing the risks of spreading harmful organisms and improving the quality of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan in both domestic and foreign markets.
