At a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, a report on achievements for the year 2025 was presented.
In 2025, the Tourism Development Support Fund was able to recover 56.1 million soms in accounts receivable and attract over $4.5 million in grants from the World Bank, which will be directed towards the construction of new tourist facilities in the Osh region.
This was reported by the General Director of the Fund, Adilet Januzakov, during the meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Bakyt Torobaev.
Januzakov noted that after updating the management team, a thorough assessment of the Fund's work was conducted, focusing on financial discipline and rationality of expenditures. This led to the successful repayment of debts for projects in Naryn and the village of Tosor, as well as the optimization of IT and communication costs.
Among the 18 facilities in the Rest Point network, 11 are already successfully operating, while the others are in the final stages of readiness. Additionally, the subsidiary company GoBus is actively engaged in passenger transportation and is preparing to implement an electronic ticketing system.
It is worth noting the large investment projects. In particular, the total investment in the international sports complex "Tamga-Tosor" exceeds $100 million. Work is also ongoing on the Baytik Mountain Resort and Chatkal Mountain Resort projects.
