New Chairman at the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economic Development

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the new chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service is Aibek Mamyraliev. The introduction of the new leader took place on February 17, where Deputy Minister Benazir Nurlanova informed the staff of his appointment.

At the event, Nurlanova emphasized the key tasks facing the agency, including the development of a competitive environment, protection of consumer rights, and oversight of compliance with antimonopoly regulations. It was also highlighted that special attention will be paid to monitoring prices of socially significant goods. The agency has been tasked with intensifying its efforts to prevent unjustified price increases and combat price collusion.
