He noted that in the previous year, 2024, only 48 car owners received payments amounting to 4.3 million soms, while in 2025, the total amount of payments reached 86.5 million soms with 901 settled insurance cases.
Turumbekov also reported an increase in the number of contracts for OSAGO policies at Gosstrakh.
“In 2024, about 74,000 policies were issued, and in 2025, this figure exceeded 350,000 policies. Since the beginning of 2026, more than 18,000 policies have been concluded,” he added.
According to the director, such changes in OSAGO statistics indicate that citizens have begun to take insurance more seriously, trying to protect themselves "in case of trouble."
