Government support for initial businesses in the country is actively developing
As part of the government program aimed at supporting startups in Kyrgyzstan, entrepreneurs will be able to receive a preferential loan of up to 1 million soms. This was announced on the air of "Birinchi Radio" by Nurbek Umetaliev, head of the entrepreneurship development department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
According to him, the implementation of this project became possible thanks to a government decision made for the period of 2026-2030.
"Support for startups will cover about 20 different areas. Each project can receive up to 1 million soms for a period of up to 18 months, with a grace period of up to six months. After this period ends, entrepreneurs will start paying interest," Umetaliev noted.
He also added that four commercial banks are already participating in the program and providing loans.
