The pumping station 'Dostuk' requires 53 million soms for modernization
During the visit, the minister drew attention to the work of the pumping station "Dostuk," which provides irrigation for over 1600 hectares of agricultural land. The station, which was put into operation in 1970, draws water from the Naryn River. However, currently only the first section is operational.

To launch the second section and significantly increase the volume of water supply, serious modernization is required. According to preliminary estimates, more than 53.5 million soms will be needed for the installation of new pumps, upgrading electrical equipment, and carrying out commissioning works.

Erlist Akunbekov noted that in the context of preparing for the spring fieldwork, launching additional capacities becomes particularly important. Following the inspection, he instructed the relevant services to develop a plan for the technical re-equipment of the station and to find funds for launching the second section. The main goal is to ensure farmers have a stable supply of irrigation water in the upcoming season.
