Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic implements drones and new technologies in the new season
At the meeting, the heads of structural divisions and district agricultural development management were gathered. The main focus was on both the results of work for the year 2025 and the strategic plans aimed at modernizing agriculture and implementing new technologies.

During the discussion, a thorough assessment of the ministry's work was conducted. The minister emphasized the shortcomings identified in the activities of some district managements and stressed that support for farmers and executive discipline must remain among the priority tasks. Issues related to preparations for spring fieldwork, the availability of fuel and lubricants, and crediting the population, as well as regulating meat prices, were also discussed.

Technological progress became one of the central themes of the meeting. Turat Idirisov, head of the Plant Production Department, reported on plans to implement "smart" solutions such as vertical farms, drip irrigation, and the use of drones for field monitoring. These innovations could increase yields by 25–35%. The ministry also plans to launch updated laboratories in Balykchy and Jalal-Abad in 2026 and create state nurseries for scientific research. By 2028, it is expected to increase the production of certified grain seeds by 30%, reaching 37,100 tons.

The development of cooperation remains an important area of the ministry's work. In the next two years, it is planned to provide agricultural cooperatives with equipment for processing about 2,000 hectares of land, which will lead to the creation of more than 120 new jobs. The main strategic goal of the ministry is to implement drought-resistant varieties and environmentally safe production methods that will reduce the burden on the environment.

The meeting concluded with a ceremonial moment: several ministry employees were awarded for their significant contribution to the agricultural sector. Emil kyzy Mayram was awarded the honorary badge "Honored Worker," Nurbolot Ermatov received a certificate of honor, and Svetlana Sharsheeva and Nurgyz Omuralieva were awarded personalized wristwatches. Letters of gratitude were also presented to specialists from the departments of international cooperation, legal support, and animal husbandry: Aizirek Baktybekova, Altynai Kaldarbekova, Nuraiym Beknazarova, Alina Dumanaeva, and Yryskeldi Altynbekov. Erlis Akunbekov noted the importance of recognizing the achievements of professionals, which is an important step in supporting civil servants who ensure the food security of the country.
