The largest of these will be the project for the construction of facilities responsible for electricity production, carried out by the company Resto. The investment in this project will amount to $1.3 billion, which will provide over 200 new jobs.
Several significant projects in the industrial sector have also been identified in the Chui region:
- Aldos Textile textile factory: the first stage of construction has now begun, involving investments of up to $20 million, with a production capacity of 500 tons per year and the creation of 500 jobs.
- Asia Steel plant: a large-scale modernization of the metallurgical product manufacturing line is underway, with investments exceeding 1 billion soms.
- Glass Center: the launch of production of double-glazed windows and aluminum structures is planned.
- Nurislam Emerec: a new furniture production facility with a capacity of 150,000 square meters of particle board per year, with investments of about $600,000, will create 150 jobs.
An important project is also planned in Bishkek — a modern trade and logistics center by "Promsklad KG." The area of this facility will be 6,000 square meters, and its cost will be $6 million. Its opening is expected to create about 100 new jobs for the capital's residents.
