A Powerful Warehouse Infrastructure Will Be Created in Kyrgyzstan
Seyitov noted that the launch of this project will not only improve internal logistics processes but also significantly increase revenues from international transit.
The creation of a robust warehousing infrastructure will be an essential part of this development. The country plans to open numerous trade and logistics centers (TLCs), wholesale distribution centers (WDCs), and large bonded warehouses.
In particular, a modern loading and unloading station will be built in the Jalal-Abad region, at the intersection of transport routes. "Kyrgyzpost" is already actively working on this initiative.
Choro Seyitov emphasized that the main competitive advantage of the route through Kyrgyzstan is the high speed of delivery.
“Transporting goods through our country is significantly faster than through other routes. The railway will substantially accelerate transportation, which is especially important for logistics companies,” he added.
Attracting transit flows will have a multiplicative effect on the economy, starting from VAT revenues from imports to the state budget and ending with small business income from transport services, including fuel sales, catering, and parking services.
In the future, Kyrgyzstan's logistics hub will be integrated into the international network. It is planned to establish connections with the largest global ports, such as Karachi in Pakistan, as well as ports in the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran, and Europe (from Amsterdam to Riga and Novorossiysk). This will create opportunities for effective transit management and the distribution of domestic products worldwide.
