The Parliament approved the bill in the second reading
The second reading of the bill on the ratification of the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Development Bank regarding the project "Improvement of Roads in the City of Osh" was successfully held in the Jogorku Kenesh.
As part of this project, the construction of two overpass bridges and the reconstruction of a 3.2-kilometer section of road in Osh is planned.
The total cost of the project is approximately 19.3 million US dollars. The distribution of funding is as follows:
— about 14–14.5 million dollars — a loan from the Eurasian Development Bank;
— about 1.2 million dollars — grant funds;
— approximately 3.9 million dollars — budget allocations from Kyrgyzstan.
The loan will be provided on favorable terms: for a period of 15 years with a 5-year grace period and an interest rate of about 1.2% per annum.
