The total financing amount will be 8.3 million euros
On January 12, the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh approved the draft law on the ratification of loan and grant agreements with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This agreement pertains to the project for the expansion of wastewater treatment facilities in Osh.
The modernization of the first complex of wastewater treatment facilities in the city of Osh is planned. Financing in the amount of 8.3 million euros will be provided, of which 4 million euros will be a loan from the EBRD. The loan will be issued for a term of 15 years with a 4-year grace period and an interest rate of 1% per annum plus Euribor for 6 months. The remaining funds will be provided in the form of grants.
