Despite the increase in global meat prices, the situation in Kyrgyzstan is stabilizing.
The agency also reported that as of January 30, 2026, maximum retail prices for beef and lamb have been introduced nationwide, including in Bishkek and Osh, to control inflationary pressure.
Additionally, the Ministry of Economy clarified that during January and February, 65.6 thousand tons of meat were produced in live weight, which is 0.9 thousand tons, or 1.4%, higher than the same indicators from last year.
